Where the money goes
We run lean — this mission started at a kitchen table, and we intend to keep overhead low so your generosity does maximum work:
- Housing acquisition fund — the core of the $250,000 founding goal: capital toward purchasing our first apartment community for moms.
- Program development — building the remote-work training, course library, and financial-literacy programming residents will use.
- Community services — establishing the services roster: childcare resources, legal aid connections, food bank partnerships.
- Essential operations — the unavoidable costs of running a compliant nonprofit (filings, insurance, basic administration), kept as small as possible.
As we grow, we are committed to financial transparency — including our required annual IRS filings, which are public records.
